5th secret hospitalisation de Marcel Vervloesem Sunday 7 Decembre 2008 - Jacqueline de Croÿ

Has the health of Marcel Vervloesem become a state secret to hide five emergency hospitalisations from his family in two months? He is currently in the lawless zone of St John University Hospital of Bruges, since Thursday at the least . Those who believe in God say he survived by miracle, others say it is a sham because he should already be dead.

Marcel Vervloesem was sentenced for acts that medicine recognizes he is physically incapable and imprisoned despite the contra-indication of nine doctors, including legal expert appointed by the court. His real crime is to have brought solid proof of the corruption that covers the sexual exploitation of children, with photographs and lists of prices: $ 100 the rape, $ 250 for two men, $ 300 for a baby that can "swallow" $ 400 for a five years old virgin, etc. Several doctors have abandoned the Hippocratic oath, as soon as they saw the enemy of mafias. It has costed him three metastases, following a cancer that has been hidden from him during a previous illegal incarceration. Currently, the daily taking of his blood in prison appear to have served only to observe the destruction of his kidneys, then of two heart valves and of his blood.

The hospital St John, whose priority is to provide "quality care", had send him back to prison, with internal bleeding. Thursday, it was impossible to know if he had been hospitalized to be tied to an artificial kidney on one hand and shackles on the other, or if he was once more, the article of death. I then asked the telephone operator to speak to the head of the dialysis department, who is Dr. Mario Schurgers (photo on the left). He seemed very nervous. He refused to say where and when it would be possible to see Marcel. We had to make an appointment with Dr. Stefaan Vandecasteele, who is responsible for him.

The dam to the right of visits persisted three days, within a macabre comedy of nurses who played police. They repeated that Dr. Vandecasteele and his patient were not at the hospital, some with giggles. When the prison confirmed that they were lying, Dr. Vandecasteele was there, but we could not speak to him, as his service had assured. It was a "special case", said that nurse. The violation of his rights of as a patient would be of the prison's responsability... and not of the [responsible] doctor, she added. Marcel Vervloesem is thus hospitalized, not for the dialysis due to medical neglect, but because of an internal bleeding with which he was sent back to prison, and that persists for 15 days.

It turned out that the arbitrary suspension of his right of visit was reserved to the Werkgroep Morkhoven, the NGO that does not respect censor. We are accused of disseminating raw information, chopped with an ax and without consideration for the social and political benefits of giving-up acquired rights. The doctors are nervous, but the state is, too. The office of Marcel Vervloesem was broken, apparently by the band that the current Chairman of the police counsel had paid for the cabal that led him in prison. This explains why the police intervened to stop the night uproar of burglars after a complaint of the neighbours, but not to arrest them. It was therefore preferable, if possible, that Marcel would die before being able to say what he had left in office of the NGO, but he is still alive.

A man is being led to death since three months, not by a "strict application of the regulation", according to the official version - which is already prepared - but by the violation of 33 Belgian and European laws on the rights of the prisoners. These violations have been added to violations of the Hippocratic Oath and assistance to endangered people guaranteed by public national and international services subsidised to ensure respect for human rights. Even the UN Committee against Torture does not seem to insist, according to its mission, for "the State concerned to take measures to prevent that the alleged victim of the violation may undergo irreparable harm."

In other words, there is not one service that works when it comes to oppose the interests of international crime.
